I have a Mondeo MK4 (year 2007 hatchback). Today I decided to change light bulbs in high level brake light. Over time all five off the bulbs were blown. Last one blew a week ago. So I opened everything up, bought new W5W bulbs. Changed then and put everything back together. Only to find out that HL brake light still did not work. See if the wipers work, your lights should deffinitly come on though. take your hand away and let the lights go out. Now throw some water over the sensor area and see what happens, hopefully your wipoers will work but your lights will not come on. Unless ford have done a double, and decided if its raining lights should come on too, which I I have a strange problem with my Mondeo MK4 2008. One reverse light (The passenger side on right hand drive car) is not working, while the other is. Reading the manual there are not separate fuses and the bulb is fine. I put a multimeter on the terminals and read these voltages: Light off: 50mV Light on: 2.2 V The dash needs to come apart as per the wiki guide to get the cluster out to replace it. Although this is really straightforward (about 14 screws and a few clips), you still wouldn't want to be having to do it all over again in the near future to change other bulbs , so for the cost of a full set of bulbs (4 x 504 and 6 x 286) you might as well Hi James. I removed the factory fitted stereo in my mk4 2008 mondeo and replaced with the lower spec surround with separate climate controls. Unfortunately as the climate controls used to be part of the touchscreen original stereo the car does not recognize the new climate controls. The beep when 'Flashed' the lights with ignition off did indeed put all the road lights on. I wasn't aware of that feature. Thanks for confirming that it's normal. Going back to the original fault. When in the car with the key, the dash is illuminated as normal, the steering unlocked when clutch was pressed but pressing the start button did Neil Davies. 73 posts · Joined 2010. #2 · Dec 12, 2010. You were in the right place. The white allen key bolts are the ones. The one on the outer edge of the light adjusts left to right, the inner one does up and down. I had my lights pointing at a wall about 50 yards away and could see them moving slowly as I was adjusting them. #1 · Nov 7, 2018 Hi everyone, not sure if anyone has experienced this is issue but any info would be greatly appreciated, my mondeo mk 4 titanium x sport's dash has stoped working my speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge and engine temp has stopped but everything else works as it should including cruise control etc, there is no faults coming up either. rI1Zvy.
