2) I have disabled EVERY usb device on my computer (used a ps2 keyboard to start the game) -- same issue. 3) Disabled Firewalls, virus scanning, any other background apps (no change). 4) Updated video drivers (and just about every other driver I could think of). Nada. Originally posted by Jackal560: I figured out why mine didn't work: I have a Belkin n52 gamepad that I use for First Person Shooters. Far Cry 4 wouldn't let my wireless controller work while the n52 was also plugged in. So I unplugged it and the xbox controller works fine. While yes, I could just use the n52, I like the feel of the controller. I know Ubisoft is full of assholes that just want to flame their supporters, and I've learned my lesson, but can't get this to work anymore. I know when I tried the pirated version, to make sure the game ran smoothly on my graphics card before purchase, the cheats worked. I'm not a great gamer, by far, so this is a make or break deal for me. Now unpack both files using this free archiever (or use any archiever) Now, look for file x360ce.exe and run it, then select YES. Now you need to have Search Automatically already checked and press NEXT , wait to update and then FINISH. Last step is to SAVE your config from bottom right corner and now you can PLAY Far Cry 4 with any gamepad Sniper rifle zoom not working on keyboard. As the title says when i use a sniper scope the mouse wheel just keeps switching the grenades, any insight on this? Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that your zoom isn't working. Have you tried changing your control settings in the menu to see if it affects this issue? I've been trying to play Far Cry 4 for almost 2 weeks and it keeps freezing, the screen turns black, and I have to alt+tab out to the task manager to close my now 'not responding' game. This is getting extremely annoying because my GPU drivers are up to date, I validated my files 3 times (repaired it when it found corrupted files the first time), I unplugged all USB devices except my keyboard Until my game start crashing during launch. After fixing the crashing issue, every time I launch the game, I get a prompt saying farcry 4 services are no longer working. When I go to click multiplayer the game says "You are not connected to Uplay." Any help would be gladly appreciated. Remember to stay safe, and wash you hands! Far Cry 4 won't even open with a dual-core CPU installed, and while the game will load when using dual-core CPU's with hyper-threading enabled (for 4 total "cores") the performance isn't very good GFWRpH.
