My friend just received his 2021 X5 and it appears BMW has completely removed the button to control the Auto Start Stop feature of the engine. Meaning it is always in the auto stop condition and cannot be switched to always on, My friend confirmed this with his BMWGenius. This is very disappointing. I have had my GV80 for three weeks and have experienced the "start/stop" feature. It's very annoying in local traffic and completely shuts down the A/C system at a stoplight. Since I live in Florida the A/C shut down is very noticeable. cnfk.
