I can't reverse while operating vehicles with the left trigger - the left trigger functions as a 'break'. I don't even seem to have a button on the keyboard for the 'reverse' function!! Yes. I've been using a 360 controller and it's been a hardcore struggle. First it wouldn't recognize, then D-pad wouldn't work (which it still doesn't, I just rebound the D-pad to the keyboard keys, so throwing rocks gets real weirdy), and the best way I've found to reverse is to set a waypoint, get in the passenger seat, and wait for your capable, grown up companion to back the damn car up 3. Click Far Cry 5 4. Click Manage Game 5. Click Controller Settings. 6. Turn Forced Steam Controller settings or something similar to that OFF. 7. Start up Far Cry 5. 8. Enjoy Far Cry 5 from your couch! Have fun friend. When I do this, my PS controller stops working in game altogether I have this same problem. I'm using a ps4 controller, and there doesn't seem to be any control mapped to reverse in vehicles. For reverse it just says [ACTION BRAKE], which isn't shown anywhere in the control scheme. I also can't descend when grappling. Please fix asap. I love this game and I've gotten quite far without it being a problem, but it's making Hurk's recruitment mission impossible. Having the exact same issue but with XBOX 360 Controller. DPad is fine but reverse in vehicle and descend in chopper doesn't work with the LT Trigger. LT Trigger works though when on foot. Any help to solve this issue would be appreciated. Start the game from steam with controller input disabled. Then start up game go to gamepad controls and reset everything.
